My Mother used to love her tea and enjoyed it the most when it was in one of her lovely china cups. She had a collection and treated them with loving care. I store them in my china cabinet now and think of her every time I see them.

This was a memory from our trip to Virginia Beach many years ago. I managed to get up early enough to see the sunrise and it was worth it! We stayed in a cottage right on the beach so the view was spectacular.
Early morning in the desert is always such a peaceful time. We stayed with relatives the last time we were there (for the SouthWest Arts Festival). There was a small balcony in front of our room and the view was something like this in my memory. It was a great time to get my act together and prepare for the new day.
The pictured wishing well is located at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano, CA. It is located in a beautiful courtyard and inspires many people to toss in a penny to make a wish. The gardens are always beautiful, but are beyond belief in the late springtime.Labels: architecture, garden, peach and green, roses
