Peace and Tranquility

This original oil was done from a photo I took at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. I'm still doing the Art A Fair Art Show in Laguna Beach so was unable to paint it on location. I called it "Peace and Tranquility" because it gives me that feeling when I view the painting. Hope you agree with me as we can all use a little more of that.

"Orange Sunset"

We were driving from Arizona to California on a hot early summer evening and I remember the sky looking just like this. It was as though there was a fire, but it was just the sun causing this splendid display.
